Darlena also loves a good cortado

​Darlena Chiem is a Vietnamese-American video editor based in Brooklyn.
​
She hails from the San Francisco Bay Area and is a graduate of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts. Her work spans over a variety of media including, but not limited to, documentaries, commercials, branded content, experimental and narrative shorts, and movie trailers for both live action and animation. 

Darlena draws from her intuition and experiences across these seemingly different categories to play in the edit room. Her favorite note from a director to date is:
​"You've made me see my own film in a whole new way, and I love it."

She enjoys training in Muay Thai, painting, and annoying her cat, King Théoden.
